We’re proud to introduce Stella, our 2025 Mutt Strut AmbassaDog!

At 11 years old, this sweet and sassy Pomeranian is proof of the transformation that love, patience, and rescue can bring. Stella was adopted at age 5 after being rescued from a puppy mill—scared, silent, and unsure of how to trust the world around her.

“I remember sitting on the floor of the shelter for hours trying to coax one of them to come out. Finally, she did… and I took her home.” – Stella’s adopter

In those early days, Stella wouldn’t leave her crate. She didn’t bark, play, or seek attention. But over time, with gentle care and a safe place to land, she blossomed.

“It took her a year to bark, several years to play with toys, and even longer to learn to trust I wasn’t going to hurt her.”

Today, Stella is full of personality—and plenty of opinions! She greets her mom with joy every day, running to jump into her arms with kisses and cuddles. Her story is a beautiful reminder that rescue takes time, but the rewards are immeasurable.
