The Angel Fund

Pet Adoption

What is The Angel Fund?

The Angel Fund began in 2007, inspired by Angel, a stray German Shepherd who received lifesaving care at Lake Humane Society after being struck by a car. Thanks to generous supporters, Angel survived — and her story became the foundation of a fund dedicated to giving second chances to animals in critical need.

Today, the Angel Fund continues to provide emergency and specialized veterinary care for homeless pets who need it most. From surgeries and medications to diagnostic tools and special diets, this fund makes it possible for us to go above and beyond standard care.

Every donation to the Angel Fund ensures that no treatable animal is denied a chance at health, recovery, and a loving home.
