Educational Tours for Children

Here at Lake Humane Society, we like to provide our community with as much education as possible in an effort to increase animal awareness and ensure animals are treated humanely. In order to educate the children of our community, we offer Educational Tours for Children each month. The tour is 2 hours long and includes hands-on interactions with animals at the shelter, an animal-related craft, informational handouts, a snack and more!

For a donation of just $10, your child can come to the shelter and learn everything there is to know about animals and how an animal shelter works! We also make special accommodations for youth groups.
